Cleaning steps and assembly requirements for valve degreasing

HOME    Industry Information    Cleaning steps and assembly requirements for valve degreasing

1. Cleaning steps for valve degreasing:

The degreased parts of the valve must go through the following processes before assembly:

(1) According to the processing requirements, some valve parts need to be polished, and the surface must not have processing burrs, etc.;
(2) All valve parts are degreased;
(3) Pickling passivation after degreasing is completed (the cleaning agent does not contain phosphorus);
(4) Rinse with pure water after pickling and passivation, and there should be no chemical residue (for carbon steel parts, this step is omitted);
(5) Each valve component should be wiped dry with a non-woven fabric, and the surface of the remaining parts such as wire lint should not be left, or it should be blown dry with clean nitrogen;
(6) Wipe each valve component with non-woven fabric or precision filter paper dipped in analytical pure alcohol until there is no dirty color.

2. Assembly requirements for degreasing valves

The cleaned parts of the degreasing valve must be sealed and stored for installation. The requirements for the installation process are as follows:

(1) The degreasing valve installation workshop must be clean, or set up a temporary clean area (for example, using newly purchased color striped cloth or plastic film, etc.) to prevent dust from entering during the valve installation process.

(2) Assemblers must wear clean cotton overalls, cotton caps, no leakage of hair, clean shoes on feet, and plastic gloves (degreased) on hands.

(3) Assembling tools must be degreased and cleaned before assembling the degreased valve to ensure cleanliness.
